Chapman Men Edge UC Riverside in Tennis

The Chapman College men’s tennis team, ranked second in Division II, needed a victory from its No. 3 doubles team of Miles Walker and Allen Juinio to pull out a 5-4 victory over UC Riverside in a California Collegiate Athletic Assn. match Thursday at Riverside.
The Panthers (9-0, 17-8) had singles victories from Walker, Juinio, David Seline and Barry Hancock but lost the first two doubles matches. Walker and Juinio defeated Tim Bess and Greg Skaggs, 6-4, 6-3, to give Chapman an 11-0 record against Division II competition.
