China Executes 2 Men in Bus Fare Murder

BEIJING — Two men were executed for beating and stabbing to death a bus conductor in an argument over the fare, the New China News Agency reported Thursday.
The pair were among a group of seven who dragged the 18-year-old conductor off his bus in the east China city of Hefei in February. The murder caused outrage in China’s official press.
