Leontyne Price has given her name to a scholarship fund established by the Jackson, Miss., Symphony Orchestra Assn., it was announced Wednesday night before a recital in Jackson by the Mississippi-born soprano. The Leontyne Price Mississippi Vocal Scholarship will help talented vocalists from the state and also support the orchestra.
