Rainer Freytag has been named president of Hopkins & Associates, Inc., a Fountain Valley advertising agency. He had been vice-president of operations.
Freytag, 39, assumes a post that was held by Franklin L. Hopkins, Sr., founder and chairman of the eight-year-old firm. A spokeswoman said that Hopkins, who is “in his 50’s” wants less to do with the day-to-day running of the agency.
Hopkins & Associates has eight employees and bills $3 million annually, according to the spokeswoman. Clients include Optical Radiation Corp., Omega Optical, Hilton Equipment Corp., and American Isuzu Motors Inc.
