General Automation Inc. to Form Joint Venture

General Automation Inc., an Anaheim maker of business computer systems, said it has signed a joint venture agreement with Ingenieria de Sistemas Electronics S.A. of Madrid.

The deal allows a new Spanish company, financed equally by the two partners, to make and distribute General Automation’s Zebra line of business systems in Spain and Portugal.

This is the second foreign distribution deal General Automation has signed in recent weeks. Earlier the company completed an agreement to have its Zebra systems made and distributed in Australia and New Zealand.
