‘Bored’ Teens Arrested for Lincoln Vandalism

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Five teen-agers have been arrested in connection with the spray-painting of racist slogans and symbols on Lincoln’s Tomb, police said today.
Three 16-year-old boys and two 15-year-old girls were arrested Tuesday night in connection with the vandalism at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The youths, who face criminal charges, told police they didn’t have anything to do and were bored.
