Michigan Officials Among Apartment Fire Evacuees

LANSING, Mich. — Lt. Gov. Martha Griffiths and Secretary of State Richard Austin were evacuated along with their neighbors Tuesday morning, when fire broke out in the apartment house where they live, authorities said. They said there were no serious injuries reported in the blaze.
