Apple Computer has named Deborah A. Coleman, 34, chief financial officer. She succeeds David J. Barram, 43, who has been appointed to the new position of vice president-corporate affairs.

Coleman, who joined the company in 1981, most recently was vice president of worldwide operations.

Succeeding Coleman is Ralph Russo, 39, who currently is director of international operations.
