ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. — Freddy Pendleton and Ras-i Aluja Bramble, known as Livingstone Bramble when he held the World Boxing Assn. lightweight title, battled to a 10-round draw Friday night.
Pendleton, 23, of Miami, was given a 97-95 edge on judge Rocky Castellani’s scorecard, but the other two judges ruled it a draw, 95-all.
Pendleton, whose record stands at 17-15-3 with 8 knockouts, was aggressive throughout the fight, boxing well against the 26-year-old former champion from Hammonton, N.J.
But Bramble, 25-2-2 with 15 knockouts, picked up points by ending rounds with flurries of punches.
