I don’t understand how Al Campanis can sit in his executive office and say that Orel Hershiser’s poor performance (if you call 14-14 with the ’86 Dodgers behind you poor) was caused by receiving too much money. That’s absurd.

I have one question for Mr. Campanis. We finished fifth last season and he put the team together. Is he taking a pay cut?
