Bank Robber Flees on Foot: A bank was robbed Thursday of $1,000 by a man who fled on foot down Bolsa Avenue, police said. At 1:57 p.m., a man entered the Barclay’s Bank at 6952 Bolsa Ave. and handed a teller a note demanding money, Police Sgt. Gary Brooks said. The man, who did not display a weapon, grabbed the money and fled, police said.
