Kansas City Mayor Wins Third Four-Year Term

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Mayor Richard L. Berkley has won a third four-year term, defeating Councilman Jim Heeter in the city’s nonpartisan election. Unofficial results with all precincts reporting Tuesday night showed Berkley defeating Heeter by a margin of about 62% to 38%.
