Duarte : City Clerk Appointed

The City Council has named Marilyn Dwyer to the newly created position of appointed city clerk. Previously, the city manager had also served as city clerk, but the council, after reviewing operations in other cities, decided to establish a separate, appointive city clerk position. Dwyer, who had been deputy city clerk, was named interim city clerk in February, pending the council’s decision.
