Robert Latta, executive director of Monte Vista Grove Home in Pasadena, has been elected a director of Empire of America-California Federal Savings Bank, a subsidiary of Empire of America Federal Savings Bank, Buffalo, N.Y. Also elected directors were Bernard L. Martin, professor of business administration and former dean of the McLaren College of Business Administration, University of San Francisco; Don M. Muchmore, executive director of the California Museum of Science and Industry, Los Angeles, and Harrison F. Tempest, executive vice president, the Fox Group of Cos., San Mateo.
