Villa Park Brings New Meaning to Rout in 22-1 Win

Janna Ouellet hit three home runs to lead Villa Park High School to a 22-1 nonleague softball victory over Troy Tuesday at Villa Park.
Ouellet, a senior center fielder, was 3 for 5 with six RBIs. Her home runs came in successive at-bats in the first, second and third innings.
The Spartans (9-0) set school records for most runs scored--the record was 19, set in a 19-13 victory over Fullerton earlier this season--and for margin of victory.
Villa Park had 12 hits and took advantage of seven Troy errors. Troy pitchers walked 11 batters. The Spartans, who scored eight runs in the second, scored in every inning.
