Dodd Rules Out No. 2 Job

HARTFORD, Conn. — Democratic Sen. Christopher J. Dodd, frequently mentioned as a possible candidate for vice president in 1988, said today he’s not interested. The reason, he said in a broadcast interview, is that it would inhibit his work in the Senate now that Democrats are back in the majority.
