Hats off for your sparkling story on the City of Los Angeles Marathon (“Marathon Inc.,” Feb. 22, by Greg Critser). What a great guy marathon organizer Bill Burke is--a real go-getter. Your story recharged me. I wanted to get right in there and run. Slowly, of course.
