Unbeaten heavyweight champion Mike Tyson will defend his titles May 30 in Las Vegas against former world champion Pinklon Thomas.
“It’s signed, it’s complete, it’s solid,” Bill Cayton, co-manager of Tyson, said of the scheduled defense of his World Boxing Assn. and World Boxing Council titles against Thomas, the former WBC champion.
Thomas (29-1-1) lost his WBC title a year ago to former Canadian champion Trevor Berbick, whom Tyson beat for the title last November.
Thomas, 29, won his last two fights, both knockouts in the seventh round, over Danny Sutton on March 7 and William Hosea last Nov. 22.
