Injured Inmate Back in Jail: An unidentified County Jail inmate bruised in a fight involving nearly a dozen inmates was released from UCI Medical Center on Friday after an overnight stay and returned to the jail, officials said. Sheriff’s Lt. Richard J. Olson said investigators are still questioning inmates to see what triggered the fight on Thursday evening. The fight broke out in a holding cell, Olson said. ‘We’re not getting much cooperation, and the way it’s going, we may never find out what started it,” he said.
