Quake Jolts Southeast

MADISONVILLE, Tenn. — A light earthquake shook parts of Tennessee, North Carolina and Georgia today, the U.S. Geological Survey said, but no damage was reported. The tremor, which registered 4.3 on the Richter scale, occurred about 2:29 a.m. and was centered about 30 miles southwest of Knoxville.
