Six Injured at Truck Race

OIL CITY, La. — A truck competing in a mud-bog contest skidded into a concession stand at about 100 m.p.h., injuring six people, authorities said. About 200 people were at the event Saturday, in which trucks with oversized tires tried to race through a patch of mud.
