“Living and Teaching in China” will be the topic of Eleanor and Sam Phillips at the Wednesday meeting of the U.S.-China Peoples Friendship Assn., Westside-Los Angeles chapter, 7:30 p.m. at Mercury Savings & Loan, 10435 Santa Monica Blvd. Admission is free.
“Europe Night” will be hosted by Four Corners Travel Center Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the Beverly Hillcrest Hotel, 1224 S. Beverwil Drive. Admission is free. A cruise show will mark University Travel Agency’s 23rd year in the travel business Thursday at Griswold’s Hotel, 1500 S. Raymond Ave., Fullerton.
