Work Under Way on Irvine High-Rise

Construction has started on Phase 2 of Irvine’s Century Centre, a $19-million, 13-story, 238,000-square-foot office tower and 743-car parking structure.
The five-phase office development for Robert A. Alleborn Associates of Newport Beach, is located at Jambortee Road and Main Street in Irvine, and is scheduled for build-out in 1991. General contractor for Phase 2 is Saffell & McAdam Inc. of Irvine.
