ANKARA, Turkey — A Turkish government minister is to visit Greece even though tension is high between the two countries over rights in the Aegean Sea, the Foreign Ministry announced Saturday.
Minister of State Ali Bozer will go to Athens for the first high-level meeting between the two countries in more than eight years.
The ministry also issued the latest in a series of statements attacking Greece over its attitude on the Aegean sea. The countries are also divided over the presence of Turkish troops on Cyprus.
