1 Killed, 1 Hurt as Car Flips on Foothill Freeway

A 63-year-old Northridge man was killed and his 60-year-old wife injured Saturday when the couple’s car drifted onto the shoulder of the rain-slick eastbound Foothill Freeway near Tujunga and rolled over, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Their names were not released pending notification of relatives, authorities said.
