Wickes Leases Office Space for Builders Emporium

Wickes Companies Inc. said that it has leased a 127,718-square-foot building in Irvine to house the division offices for its Builders Emporium unit. The value of the lease was not disclosed.
Occupancy of the building, one of two at Amberdon Plaza, 1833 Alton Ave., is scheduled for June. The lease is for 10 years. The company plans to offer 38,000 square feet of unused space to another as yet undetermined tenant.
