A pregnant woman and a 34-year-old man were wounded by gunfire from a passing car Wednesday night as they stood in front of a bar on Martin Luther King Jr. Way, police said.
Pam Foster, 23, and Alex Holiday, 34, both of San Diego, were treated for gunshot wounds to their left legs at Paradise Valley Hospital and released, police spokesman Bill Robinson said, adding that Foster is 8 months pregnant.
Police said the two victims were standing in front of a bar in the 4200 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Way about 10:35 p.m. Wednesday when a vehicle drove past by the establishment and occupants inside the car fired at least seven rounds at the victims.
Robinson said police had no motive for the shooting, but believe it was not gang-related.
