Moorpark to Challenge Canyons for 1st Place

The Moorpark College baseball team will try to move into a tie with Canyons for first place in the Western State Conference’s Southern Division when the Raiders play at Canyons at 2 p.m. today.

Canyons (9-3 overall, 5-0 in conference) is the WSC’s only undefeated team. Moorpark (9-7, 4-1) is one game behind Canyons. Both teams will play conference doubleheaders on the road Saturday. Moorpark faces Hancock and Canyons meets Santa Barbara.
