Police Officer Pleads Innocent to Having Sex With Teen-Ager

A Long Beach police officer was charged with unlawful sexual conduct for allegedly having sex with a teen-age police Explorer Scout.
Robert Padilla, 46, of Long Beach, pleaded innocent in Tuesday in Los Angeles Municipal Court to two counts of unlawful sexual conduct and two counts of oral copulation.
Deputy Dist. Atty. Lawrence E. Mason said Padilla became acquainted with the teen-age girl through the police department and had sexual relations with her on Feb. 20 and 28.
He was arrested March 3 and freed on $2,000 bail.
