Trammell Crow Co.’s Commerce Business Park in the City of Commerce has begun operation of what is believed to be the only scheduled helicopter service to Los Angeles International Airport from a Southland business park.
LA Helicopter offers 7 1/2-minute flights at least once an hour for a base one-way fare of $65, a fee that can be reduced substantially for many business class or first class fliers, according to Hayden C. Eaves III, general partner and manager of Trammell Crow’s Los Angeles office.
The helipad was erected by the firm at Eastern and Mansfield avenues in the 45-acre development.
