Bill Welsh’s contract as president of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has been renewed for three years, according to Stanley L. Spero, chairman of the board of the business and trade organization.
Welsh has been president of the chamber since 1980. During that time, he has championed the $923-million Hollywood redevelopment program and supported anti-prostitution measures.
Welsh is a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado and has served as a television emcee for the Tournament of Roses for 40 years.
