La Habra : 3 Drug Suspects Booked in Undercover Operation

3 Drug Suspects Held: Culminating a weeklong undercover operation, La Habra and Brea police Wednesday announced the arrest of three people suspected of selling cocaine. The three were arrested Tuesday in the parking lot of Arrow Vista Park in La Habra, officers said. Narcotics officers from La Habra and the special enforcement detail from the Brea Police Department jointly conducted the operation. Police said they witnessed the suspects making narcotics transactions while in the park. About 1 1/2 ounces of cocaine, valued at $700, was seized in the arrests. The three arrested were identified as Thomas Joseph Sanchez, 18, Fullerton; Samuel Garcia Sanchez, 34, Anaheim, and Claudia Almenara, 21, La Habra. They were booked into County Jail on suspicion of sale of cocaine and conspiracy to sell cocaine. Bail for each was set at $25,000.
