International Totalizator Systems hopes to break out of the $10-million to $14-million revenue range during 1987, Chairman James T. Walters said during a recent meeting with the New York Society of Security Analysts.
ITS also expects to be profitable during each quarter of calendar 1987, an ITS spokesman told Investors Daily.
San Diego-based ITS expects its revenue to increase because the company’s backlog recently tripled to about $30 million, Walters said.
ITS, which manufactures wagering equipment and other ticket-processing machines, reported a $1.2-million net loss on $10.3 million in revenue during 1986. Walters said the losses were due in part to costs related to the acquisition of two companies.
