Howard Baker, Nancy Reagan

I guess I’m one of those flaming liberals that your readers keep writing about. Not only did I not vote for Ronald Reagan, but I have found him to be an unacceptable President.

However, I do think that 35 years ago he picked a near-perfect wife. Politically, Nancy Reagan and I are miles apart--but caring for her husband is quite another story. My husband of 43 years has had recent surgery and I try in every way to protect him from stress, from tension and from overexertion. As a loving, caring wife, Nancy gets my vote!
