Medfly Spraying Curbed

HIALEAH, Fla. — High winds forced officials on Thursday to cancel the first scheduled aerial insecticide spraying of a neighborhood where Mediterranean fruit flies were found in a backyard orange tree. Officials decided to go ahead with ground spraying, however, a state official said.
