Beverly Hills : Limits on Buildings Extended
- Share via
The City Council has extended for one year an interim law limiting building heights in the southern Trousdale Estates area to 14 feet while the Planning Commission considers a permanent ordinance restricting development on the hillside community.
The restriction was to have expired Wednesday.
Residents have complained that some new developments are too large, unsightly and obstruct their hillside views.
Building heights in the northern half of Trousdale previously had been limited to 14 feet, but were capped in the southern half to 22 feet.
