Philadelphia Eagle quarterback Ron Jaworski has declared himself a free agent after 10 years with the team. Jaworski, 35, was traded to Eagles after four years with the Rams.
The Eagles notified Jaworski over the weekend that the team would not guarantee the $600,000 1987 salary called for in his contract.
The Eagles’ all-time leading passer made it clear that his days with the Eagles are over, although he is technically still free to negotiate a new contract with the club.
