Prep Football Star Opts for San Diego St.

Prep All-American Tommy Booker, among the most sought-after high school running backs in the nation, will play his college football at San Diego State University.

Two weeks ago, Booker, of Vista High School in San Diego County, verbally committed to San Diego State, but his father, Tommy Booker Sr., said he would not sign the national letter of intent until the matter was completely thought out. The father favored Arizona State, while his son wanted to attend San Diego State.

Booker will sign his letter Thursday at Vista High School.
