A Sunnyvale high-technology company announced that it has fired a financial vice president arrested last week in Hawthorne on charges of grand theft and embezzlement. Raymond Montoya, whose office was at the UDT Division of ILC Technology Inc. in Hawthorne, was also named in a civil action by the company to recover alleged “inappropriate disbursements” of funds. Company sources alleged that $400,000 or more may have been embezzled. ILC Technology makes specialty lighting, including lasers and light sensors.
