A jury decided that a Ventura man should be sentenced to life imprisonment without parole for the robbery-murder of two elderly neighbors. Allan Davis, 34, was convicted last January of having beaten Steven Rosky, 69, and Alexandra Rosky, 80, to death at their Ventura home when they refused to tell him where their money was hidden. Davis had claimed that he attacked Rosky and killed him because he saw the elderly man beat his wife to death during a quarrel. Superior Court Judge Steven Perren ordered Davis to return to court March 23 for sentencing.
