Nebula Awards Anthology
Regarding your review of the most recent Nebula Awards anthology: The section you object to, the survey of 1985’s science-fiction movies, was not included in the book at the expense of any further stories. It was merely an adjunct, an added feature; if it had been omitted, the book would not have had 14% more fiction; it would have merely been 14% shorter. And, as in any anthology, no one is required to read or even notice that section.
You should perhaps be warned that there is going to be another such section in the anthology for 1986, and it will be by the same nameless writer, who happens to be yours truly.
