Burton Scores 37 in Point Loma Win

Dawyne Burton scored a career-high 37 points, lifting host Point Loma Nazarene College to a 78-66 victory over Fresno Pacific Thursday night.
Burton made 16 of 22 shots from the field. Point Loma (17-7) also was paced by Clayton Williams’ 15 points and Steve Bruce’s 11. John Berwick led Fresno Pacific with 22 points.
