Five San Fernando Valley residents were appointed by Mayor Tom Bradley on Wednesday to a 15-member commission that will plan Los Angeles’ celebration this year of the Constitution’s 200th birthday.
Named to the Los Angeles Commission on the Bicentennial of the U.S. Constitution were Anne Finn, widow of northeast Valley Councilman Howard Finn; James R. Gary, a Woodland Hills real estate agent; former Dodger Maury Wills of Sylmar and Lee Alpert, a Northridge attorney. Retired Judge Peter Katsufrakis of Tarzana was named commission chairman.
