Pasadena-based Jacobs Engineering Group announced that Noel G. Watson has been elected president and chief operating officer of the company, with all operating departments reporting directly to him.
Also, Executive Vice President Gary L. Allison resigned to pursue other business but will remain a consultant. Joseph J. Jacobs remains as chairman and chief executive.
The company also said outside directors elected were J. Clayburn LaForce, dean of the Graduate School of Management at UCLA, and David M. Petrone, vice chairman of Wells Fargo Bank, San Francisco.
