Community College Basketball : Orange Empire Opens League Play Tonight

The Orange Empire Conference begins its 10-game sprint to the title tonight at 7:30 p.m.
Orange Coast (18-3), ranked fourth in the Southern California poll, opens at Cypress (12-9), the preseason favorite to win the conference.
OCC has the most victories of any team in Southern California.
There are only 10 conference games for each member of the six-team conference.
Rancho Santiago (17-3) plays at Riverside (12-12). The Dons are ranked third in Southern California and are off to the best start in the school’s history.
Saddleback (15-4), ranked second in Southern California, plays at Citrus (11-7). The Gauchos have won 12 of their last 13 after starting the season 3-3.
