A youth visiting his former high school was arrested on suspicion of carrying a loaded gun after an assistant principal recognized him from a police description.
Police said the 16-year-old youth, who was not identified because of his age, was visiting friends at Los Amigos High School Monday when he was recognized by Assistant Principal Gerald Gereb as a person wanted for questioning in an Orange County Sheriff’s investigation. Sheriffs deputies had given Gereb a description of the youth. The Sheriff’s Deparment has refused to comment on the nature of the investigating.
