The World Bank plans loans to Argentina.

Argentina will get $2 billion worth of loans this year and next, it was announced by World Bank President Barber B. Conable Jr. The money will be part of a package now being shaped that will include help from the International Monetary Fund and commercial banks. When completed, the package could add $6.8 billion or more to Argentina’s present debt of $52.8 billion.
