Pregnancy, Sex Education and TV

I am writing in support of the Planned Parenthood campaign to end the censorship of contraception information on television. I was happy to see this campaign launched through advertisements in The Times.
Clearly there is no logic in the networks’ frequent portrayals of sexual activity and their complete omission of contraception information.
By presenting sex in a fantasy world without consequences and without responsibility, the networks themselves are like our ignorant American teen-agers--engaging in sex, calling it love and manifesting surprise at predictable results.
