Two Hollywood synagogues have joined with CHIP-IN, a group formed to help the poor, to serve a Christmas meal to about 600 homeless people.
The meal will be served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Christmas Day at the Salvation Army facility at Hollywood Boulevard and Gower Street.
Lending a hand will be members of Hollywood Temple Beth El and Temple Israel.
CHIP-IN is a coalition of Hollywood social service, religious and fraternal organizations.
