Watson Leads San Jose Past UCI in Volleyball

Gina Watson had 11 kills to lead San Jose State to a 15-10, 15-6, 9-15, 15-5 Pacific Coast Athletic Assn. victory over UC Irvine at San Jose Monday.
Sue Olsvewski had 10 kills and Kris Roberts and Dana Parker had eight each for the Anteaters (1-9 in conference, 7-18 overall).
San Jose State is 6-2, 17-2.
In nonconference men’s soccer:
Southern California College 3, Master’s College 1--Ed Limon and Doug Morlin each scored second-half goals for the Vanguards (1-12).
